I'm having to pay a collection settlement via Western Union between now and tomorrow at noon ET (May 27th). They had tried to take it out of my acct, but my deposited check had not been released from hold yet, so it was returned. It's late Friday night, and I discovered I could do it online, but it says it would cost me about $150 just to do it. If I would have known the cost, I would have requested to have it wired or something. Now, I'm not sure I can get a hold of anyone to get wire information much less get Bank of America to wire on a Saturday? If I go to a Western Union agent location lke 7-11, am I going to have the pay the same $150, or will it be less or any different? Am I better off just taking the hit and doing it online right now?
Sending $3623 from Oregon to Pennsylvania. Online, I realize I have to split that up since $2500 is the limit per transaction.
